Greg and Cathy in the Okanagans, British Columbia

Groundhog Day

More of the same today – brilliant snow quality and limited visibility. Now we are a bit more familiar with the mountain we coped much better with the conditions. We accidentally went down a black run called “Goats Kick” which turned out to be quite steep with huge bumps. I tried to encourage Cathy to hit one of the kickers and get some air but I think there was some swearing in her response. Of course it was my fault for being on the run in the first place.

We skied home for lunch and had a nanna nap before venturing out again. The clouds lifted for a while this afternoon and we were able to see a bit of the mountain.

Had an outdoor hot tub to soothe the aching muscles and are riding the gondola tonight to a posh restaurant.  Now we are over the jet lag we are really starting to enjoy the holiday.
